Hassan Farah Mohammed is a senior lawyer with expertise in Somaliland laws, conflict resolution and peace building projects.
Strong pragmatic expertise in legal drafting, analyses, interpretations, experience in conflict resolution and peace building, seven years working experience in Somaliland legal sector.
Mr. Hassan Farah Mohammed holds LL.B degree in law from University of Hargeisa (UoH) and Post-Graduate Diploma in peace and conflict studies from Institute of Peace and Conflict studies (IPCS). Mr. Hassan is dully licensed attorney and served as legal consultant of Somaliland House of Representatives, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Minerals and Energy, Ministry of Commerce and Investment, Ministry of Interior, USAID Economic Growth program, World Bank, and UNDP. His core strength includes, drafting laws, policies, company bylaws, memorandum of understanding, regulations, company formation, with emphases on tax laws, banking laws, employment related issues, facilitation of registration and due diligence on regulatory regimes in Somaliland and Somalia.

Mr. Hassan was a senior partner, founding member and vice president of Watershed Legal Services, Mr. Hassan is the managing director of Somlegal Services.

Iimaan Mohamed Omar

Iimaan Mohamed gratuated from Hargiesa University, specially faculty of Law and received LL.B Degree in Law, Iimaan has very wide experience in developmenmt programs including legal reform prorgrams and Gender affairs. Iimaan worked with TIS-DAI (Development Alternatives, Inc), her job reponsiblities includes to advice the Senior Project Advisor and Program team on strategies to identify grant making opportunities and successfully implemented over 100 In-kind grants in Somaliland. Iimaan also worked with Danish Demining Group (DDG) were she liaised with traditional leaders and Government authorities to ensure that the security priorities and needs of the communities remain the core for all planning and enhancement of community safety and security. She organized meetings, planning and facilitated community trainings geared towards enhancing community safety and security. Miss Iiman was gender coordinator for Ministry of Family Affairs & Social Development, where she collected and reviewed information relating to the existing Gender activities in Somaliland and came up with strategies on how national gender issues are mainstreamed into other national milestones. And collected and reviewed information on the current legal system and how they can be used to support the gender issues.
